Fair Play AMS Pty Ltd (the suppliers of the Athlete Management System) respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting your personal information. This document sets out the policy on how your personal information is managed within the AMS database.
The nature of personal information
Personal information is information from which it is possible to determine your identity.
Examples of personal information include your name, postal address, telephone number, email address, fitness data and reviews of performance.
How is personal information obtained?
Personal information about you to be stored in the AMS may be obtained in a number of ways, including:
(a) directly from you, for example, when you enter the information into the AMS yourself; and
(b) from other entities to whom you have provided your information, such as another user of the AMS.
How is your personal information in the AMS used?
(a) By Fair Play AMS Pty Ltd to help administer and manage the AMS web site and provide you with access to the AMS and assistance in its use; or
(b) By users of the AMS, for example a Manager, may access the AMS to obtain your telephone number to facilitate communication with you.
When you visit the AMS, the system may record certain information about your use of the AMS (such as which web pages you visit and the time and date of your visit). This information may be used to help analyse and improve the performance of the AMS.
When do we disclose your personal information?
The personal information about you stored in the AMS is never disclosed by Fair Play AMS Pty Ltd to any third party unless legally compelled to do so.

This information is treated in the same way as other personal information collected about you.
Storage of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
The AMS may collect your IP address when you access the web site. IP addresses are assigned to computers on the internet to uniquely identify them within the global network of computers which makes up the internet. The AMS may use collected IP addresses to assist session management and for safety and security purposes.

The AMS relies on the information provided to it directly by you or indirectly by other for the accuracy of personal information which is stored.
If you find that the personal information being held about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date, please update it yourself if possible. If this is not possible please contact the Privacy Officer (see details attached below) and request that it be corrected.
How can you access the personal information we hold about you?
Subject to some exceptions provided by law, you have the right to access your personal information. For safety and security purposes, if you would like to access personal information that is held in the AMS about you other than that which is visible to you as a user of the AMS, then you are required to put your request in writing to the Privacy Officer. If access is not permitted to you to any part of the personal information held in the AMS, you will be told why.

From time to time this Privacy Policy may need to change to reflect changing business practices. The Privacy Policy may be changed at any time by making the new policy accessible from the AMS website.
